Stop "Claims Sharks" from taking advantage of veterans *
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________Stop “Claims Sharks”: Michigan needs a state law to prohibit anyone other than the Veteran, or an accredited Veteran Service Officer, from filing or assisting in filing claims for Veterans living in Michigan.
Require state prosecution of anyone charging any fee for assisting a Veteran or claimant residing in Michigan in preparing or filing any VA claim - other than Department of Veteran Affairs accredited Lawyers who have had their contract approved by the V.A.
Veteran Service Officers receive training and are certified. They do this work free of charge to the Veteran.
